Want to smell like an Egyptian seductress? I don’t know why you wouldn’t!
Anyhoo, the Lady of the Nile inspired this unique and intriguing scent from Tocca. Now, Tocca is known for it’s unusually beautiful scent combinations, and I personally think Cleopatra is one of their very best. I own both the eau de parfum and the hand cream, and at one point also had a rollerball and candle in the same scent.
An interesting mix of cucumber, grapefruit, greenery, jasmine, tuberose, patchouli, and a vanilla musk, this scent is powerful and feminine without being overbearing. It’s a light scent that’s appropriate year round (I first wore it in summer), but I personally like it best for winter. With it’s fresh top notes it’s not something you encounter often during the colder months, but it’s depth makes it completely in place during the holidays. Sephora describes it as a vivacious scent and I have to agree. There’s a liveliness to Cleopatra that’s missing from a lot of the musky winter fragrances available today.
So, if you’re looking to stand out from the crowd with a powerfully seductive sent, try a spritz of Cleopatra. Oh, and the bottle is gorgeous as well!
Have you tried any other Tocca perfumes? Which is your favorite? Let me know in the comments!
